Monaco knew Madrid would want him at all costs, so why not overprice him like we had to do with Spurs. the difference is Monaco actually has a shot at the French league while Spurs had absolutely no chance to win the Premier league, plus Monaco can attract good players as they are a rich club (like PSG, Chelsea, and Madrid). but we didn't need him, we don't need anyone (except a second striker to replace Morata and to sub in for Benzema), but oh well maybe James can play false 9/striker in place of Benzema (Isco can also take over for Benzema to play false 9)
