A good question. I'd say partially because he lives life to quote from others in the "fast line" also the English media especially seem to love to say that a player is the new e.g. Beckham etc. before they've even managed to have a solid 3 or 4 years first. Yes he's not a Messi or Ronaldo but neither is Ramsey and he was definetly in the top 5 of best midfielders in the prem last year. Think its a combination of pressure and lifestyle.
