Why is everyone but thirst about Cubo being called up?

I mentioned this couple days ago as well. Besides Oribe and Jimenez there isnt many forwards out there currently impressing. Pulido was playing great but he hasnt been playing for a while + lets remember the big conflict he has going on with Tigres. Chicharrito is just out of form and doesnt play much with Man U. Hes being linked to a new team every week but he doesnt sign... This should be a wake up call for Chicharrito. Sooner or later Piojo wont call him up at all. He needs to play more. And yes, I think Piojo made the right decision on not calling Jimenez. He knows how great this opportunity is for Jimenez.. He wants Jimenez to adjust and have full concentration on his new team Atletico De Madrid.

And yes, maybe the MLS isnt much of a competitive league, but not many Mexican forwards at the moment have been impressing. Cubo should take advantage of this opportunity and impress El Piojo and the fans as much possible. I wish him luck... I really do.

But thirst, no i don't have a thirst for a$$ i think you mean butthurt but im a Chivas fan so i love the fact that CUbo is being called up

You guys can't forget that Gio also plays as striker. Cubo might not play the game vs Chile, but will play vs Bolivia for sure.

right now alot of quality mx forwards in liga mx are crap, most of the good ones are leaving to europe right now, calling of cubo torres is good for him but same time its sign alot of young liga mx forwards are not good, carlos fierro, alberto garcia, gullermo magridal, ale diaz from america, edson rivera, alot of them are horrible, carlos fierro is by far more talented than cubo torres since he is with chivas and these coaches are screwing him up, come on now, same thing might happen with jose ramirez

Vela but lets see what cubo has in the bag

No PET14?

who?

The dudes been beasting for chivas USA. I know he's in the MLS, but you can't deny the leagues level risen in the past couple years. Mexicos top forwards are Oribe, chich, Jimenez, and Pulido. Piojo said he wasn't calling Jimenez because he just moved to a new club, chich is being linked with a new team everyday and isn't in good form, and Pulido isn't even training with a team. Peralta will get a call up for sure. Besides those four strikers is there any forward who really stands out? In my opinion cubo Torres is the only. And it's not like he is scoring easy goals either. He's scoring chilenas and volleys too. I think it's a deserved call up given the situation of the other players.
