I'm hoping for 2nd in La Liga, and hopefully quarter finals in the CL. Then again, Chelsea managed to win the CL in 11/12 by a miracle, so we might be able to also.
When we do get knocked out of the CL I hope it is by Bayern, Barca, or a strong team who may go on and win it. It would be embarrassing to be knocked out by Juventus, or Arsenal, or something.
Couldn't agree more. This transfer season has been an utter disaster. Madrid are likely going to be competing in more games than last season (the club World Cup in December etc) with LESS players than last season.
Perez has really failed the club. Di Maria's transfer hurt me the most as there really is no player on the planet with his combination of energy, work-rate, versatility and multi-dimensionality. We didn't even ATTEMPT to replace him...

Two key players left PERMANENTLY, one lesser player arrived on LOAN. A loan is a token confession that you totally failed on a strategic management level and have grabbed at straws. Why does a club with Real Madrid's wealth need to LOAN lesser players? When you have loanees in your team, you know one thing for a FACT - Your team has no money, and/or your team clear strategy or direction.
Why did the club sell Alonso and ADM with no replacement, (Casemiro too) knowing full well that another of our midfielders, Khedira, was hoping to leave and his head is elsewhere, trying to run down his deal???
We are going to head to the Nou Camp, Anfield, Calderon ert with Isco and Illarra shielding our back 4, Khedira sulking and, should CR7's condition not improve, or Benzema flop, a player on cover who could not even get into the starting line up of a 7th place team and is only a loanee/ghost player anyway.
