Most people DON'T think Chelsea have won the Premier League already (obviously!!).
However, a majority of people were (and still are) realistic enough to believe that the title will be won either by Chelsea or Man City.
Today's results suggest that some people may now consider Chelsea to be slight favourites.
I still think City will show why they are the current Champions, by grinding out the important results when it matters most to retain their title, with Chelsea wilting in the run-in just like Liverpool (and Chelsea) did last season.
No team can win by playing 3 games into the season
That being said,Chelsea do look solid but i don't think they have the same resolute defense they possessed last season.Man City are by no means out of it,Stoke are a team of thugs,City were fouled on to many occasions.
City and Chelsea will battle it out till the end
It's a long season and i agree. However there is something about Chelsea in their first 3 games. I've not seen the Everton game, but in their first 2 they were at times shocking but for 20 minutes in each they produced the goods. It's like the mechanical Mourinho way of the past has returned. They seemed to find a way to win and it's looking scary...
BECAUSE - it's as much a Battle of MANAGERS as it is between the squads they've assembled/have available.
And the smart money is on The Special One - JM - who knows the ropes.
As Adam (above) comments - he knows how to grind out 3 points - with teams playing pretty/ugly - whichever way but loose.
His Ruskie Boss also knows what side his bread is buttered on - hence JM's return to Stamford Bridge.
The three games I've seen this season their tactics are working well for them. They can unlock defenses at ease whenever they want to. It sure looks like Chelsea has all the right pieces for their formation so far
Blues fans thought the same thing last year when Chelsea failed to win all 5 possible titles, cups or trophies they were in competition for during the season.
No one thinks that.. they have had the easiest run in of any side, today Everton put three past them. Not a league winning side.. maybe third again .
Manchester City will have a big say.
Its only 3 games in, calm down. Mathematically even Man Utd have a chance
