I agree with you on the part about Layun but I disagree on the part about Aguilar. Aguilar really beast it and showed why he was Mexicos best RB they had. Aguilar was better defensive wise and offensive wise than Layun. I would have gave Ponce a chance at LB. Guardiola isn't going to coach Mexico anytime soon and I see him coaching Spain NT soon after Del Bosque leaves. Right now I'll stick to Piojo and see what he can do in the long run for the next friendlies and Gold Cup next summer.
