You are forgetting to add that Germany could barely bring back a tie against Ghana; Ghana was beating Germany. It could only score once against USA. It struggled to defeat Algeria.
Brazil was a broken team, with inexperienced players. Brazil was not going to make to to the finals, anybody could see that from the beginning, especially after the loss of two very important players. Germany got lucky that it, and no other, came upon the wounded prey and took the catch. Brazil would not have won against Argentina.
