Steve McLaren, he didn't even qualify for a tournament which the likes of Graham Taylor and Roy Hodgson have done. Statistically (of all the ones worth considering, not the one game wonders) he is England's least successful manager (though he was only a goal, a point, or 13 minutes away. That goes to show the fine line between success and failure).
Equal bottom are Peter Taylor and Stuart Pearce (who have both acted as "caretaker" England managers):
both have match success ratings of:
won 0%;
drawn 0%:
lost 100%
and, apart from Howard Wilkinson .....
(who managed to get a 50% draw / 50% loss rate),
..... are the only (other) England Managers who (mis)-managed spectacularly enough to to achieve a negative goal difference.
Surely can't be Roy... He coached Inter.
I fancy Hodson isn't that bad sonny boy. But the football isn't too easy on the eye feller. Oh and England doesn't produce REAL talent like Aiden Mcgeady, Alan Hutton, and Steven Naismith either.
Graeme Taylor.
If anything Roy Hodson is England's greatest manager of all time... he got England to the Euro 2012 quarter finals.
Has to be Steve McLaren.
steve mcclaren, as much as roy sucks at least he had a respectable run at the euros, mcclaren could't even qualify
Roy Hodgson.
Is it Woy?
