According to several reporters and a few sources Jimenez going to Atletico is already official. #RedesESPN just tweeted a few minutes ago that its official.
While Jimenez is closing in on a deal with Atletico De Madrid who do you think will be the one to replace Jimenez in America. He was an important player in America and was probably one of their best players. He brought great importance in Americas offense. Who will take his spot?
- Luis Rey: Had his good games and really bad games last season.
- Martin Zuniga: Young player from America's Youth Academy. Hes gotten some playing time in the past but hasnt really had the chance to start and really prove himself.
- Alex Diaz: Player from Youth Academy. Hes shown great potential in Americas youth squad .. Maybe he can get more playing time with Jimenez leaving the team.
- Michael Arroyo: Plays more on the wings or as an attacking mid. Maybe he can get a shot to play as a forward?
