Most English people are devastated that their team did not go further, just like any other fan would be if their team/country did not progress throughout the tournament...we all wait 4 years for this! I know some were annoyed the USA made it through and others were actually cheering for the USA against Belgium. Just depends on the person and how they view and feel about other teams and their own.

The US was pretty terrible. Out of the 4 matches we played, we only won 1.



So we were just lucky that other teams in our group played so badly.



Next WC we'll be nonexitent. Because history repeat itself: We reach the group of 16 every 12 years or so, and afterwards we cant even qualify for the WC anymore haha.
