I hope Jimenez tears it up in the NT.
He didn't really have that same level he had with the club before the world cup in the NT.
Hopefully these friendlies soon can show if he gets called up.
As far as I see, Jimenez has done nothing with Mexico since the infamous Chilena. That was a great goal, but he has been very quiet since. And Vela will not rejoin the national team, nor do I want him to be on the national team.
I remember when Gio and Vela teared it up in the 2009 gold cup and 2010 world cup qualifying matches. I would like to see that duo again, but Vela-CH14 is also a good duo upfront.
Its simple, Chicharito needs to prove himself worthy to start which he is no where near at the moment, if he stays at united he probably won't play and Atlético already said they aren't interested in him, and Inter just bought Pablo Daniel Osvaldo so he'll probably have to go to another team for now Vela, Gio, Jiménez, Pulido, Peralta are all ahead of him for a starting spot because they have all been scoring and doing well in their leagues, for now I don't think he should be called up until he regains his 2011 form just look at the many open nets he has missed for México, and other than tap ins he doesn't contribute much to the team while guys like Pulido and Jiménez can dribble well and put in good passes

That would be great just imagine gio, vela and chicharito in the same team beast! It wouldny be so good for jimenez and peralta tho since it would mean no playing time at all
The logic would say Gio and Vela together up front, tearing **** up. But in reality we have to see who's in form. In form Gio and in form Vela though >>>>>>> no doubt.
