I had the pleasure(?) of using this type of ball on a match on Saturday and it looks and feels just like an old moulded football I had my doubts but it did the job it was supposed to do.s it is supposed to be the most spherical ball there is. Its like an old Mitre Mould Master from the early 70's.
Promotional items are seldom the same as the equipment used in actual sporting events.

I just received my 2014 Official world cup match ball. But the texturing on it, is totally different then the official match ball! Here's a picture. Is this a fake ball?
