he says CR scored against weak teams yet Messi did the same
he says CR scored PKs against Atleti, Messi couldn't even score from 1 pk and in 7 games against them
WC flop is true but he was in a tougher group, Portugal's chances of getting out were slim, the 4 haircuts make no sense, it doesn't change how he plays
he scored a pk in the UCL, it is an emotional game for Madrid, but for him it was for publicity (apparently for a movie?). he might have turned into a true Madridista, but i doubt it, i've never seen him kiss the crest the way Jese or Ramos or Marcelo have (during a game)
sure Neuer did win the treble, in 2013, he did win the world Cup, but he wasn't really the star of Germany (in fact Germany has no single stand out star player). but the award was just Europe wasn;t it? just European leagues and competitions? Ronaldo deserved it, he led Madrid to the final and scored against every team (not every game)
not to say madrid fans aren't as stupid. i've seen a lot say Messi didn't deserve the 2010 or 2011 ballon d'ors when he actually did. one of his are debateable, 3 of them he did deserve them
