Seems like a bargain but honestly i've never seen him play outside the World Cup
But what i have seen is teams get a player after a performance at the World Cup and then being disappointed, that being said Ochoa did look pretty damn good at the World Cup
Ochoa is a great player but i think he could have done better than Malaga, i would have loved him in one of the top 3 teams, especially Real, but we couldn't get him due to the Lopez-Casillas situation, either way he is paving the way to Europe for more Mexicans. just him being linked to Barcelona got me excited, memo at one of the biggest clubs in the world, he would have been worthy of Barca or Real and i would prefer him over Navas, Ochoa has super fast reflexes and throws himself without hesitation. either way i think him in la liga can influence more clubs (Spanish or not) to buy more talented Mexican players.
right now only Ochoa Vela J dos Santos G dos Santos and Aquino are in la liga (the last 3 being in Villarreal) whilst Chicharito Hector Herrera and Diego Reyes are in 2 other leagues. Rafa Marquez was a terrific defender (and he was our best in the WC) but he is too old for another World Cup, Mexico needs more players abroad to challenge the tougher European teams, but the same can be said for USA.
Memo was the 2nd/3rd best GK at the World Cup, only Neuer put better performances than him and Navas. but i absolutely love Memo, he's a rather young keeper, he's mexican (and better than Corona), imagine him in his prime, he may be bought by top clubs in 2-3 yrs.
but good for Malaga, they need better players. in the 12-13 season they almost beat Dortmund and got as far as the QFs in the Champions league, albeit they still had Isco. i expect great things from Memo and i will be sure to watch him play every once in a while
I like all of them: Ospina, ochoa and Caballero. Would like to see Arsenal win the title again so hopefully Sczesny is firmly relegated to back-up 'keeper.

Amazing transfer, I have been watching Memo Ochoa since his day at America, he has always been an outstanding reflex keeper but he needs to work on his handling. Its good to see his career is back on track.
Great buy, he was extremely impressive in the World cup. Saved Mexico on so many occasions and I expect him to do the same for Malaga.
Ochoa is like 5'8
that is good, Memo Ochoa deserve to play in Europe.
