Manuel Neuer because hes a solid goalkeeper on his line, he can come out and sniff out danger because hes alert and he gives the defence less to worry about because they know that they have got a trustworthy keeper behind them.
Toni Kroos because he pulls the strings for the team, he is that man who can find the long pass or that killer pass and hes always at the centre of a paient build up. He is also by far Germany's best set piece taker especially from corners.
Thomas Muller because he can play anywhere along the front line. He can be a goal poacher and a great finisher, but he just keeps on moving into free attacking spaces. If you give him a good ball he will finish. Yes he is not the most elegant or skillful of players but he's and extremely effective team player.
You could say Lahm, Klose, Hummels, Ozil etc... but it just shows the strength of the german team.
its like asking which top 3 organs are the best in the human body.
germany team is a solid unit. its impossible to pick just 3 players.
1. Philipp Lahm, extremely intelligent, always looking out for what's going on.
2. Schweinsteiger, great midfield and a fighter till the end, never gives up, always fights for the ball 100%.
3. Neuer, there is just nobody like him. Gutsy and confident.
That's a tough cookie! too many to choose from...
Müller, Schweinsteiger, Kroos
but apart from those, Neuer, Boateng, Hummels have all played to absolute perfection, imho.
It has to be Lahm, Schweinsteiger, and Muller.
