Should Van Gaal be sacked...?

Yes, it'll take a relegation survival specialist like Pulis or Redknapp to save them now.

Its only been one game.

Here are some reason why we lost, in my opinion, apart from playing like sh*t:

Its obvious our squad isn't good enough, especially now since our rivals have improved theirs.

Key players were not included e.g. Van Persie and others were injured e.g. Valencia and Welbeck.

We tried a new system that is rarely used in the Premier League and I've never seen us use that before.

At least we got to see some youth players play today e.g. Blackett.

Shame Lingard's debut got cut short.

Van Gaal changed to a 4-2-3-1 at half time, so I'm hoping we'll stick to that.

The thing is, he wants to make Juan Mata, Rooney and Van Persie fit in, that's why he went with the 3-4-1-2 or 3-5-2 (same thing).

We lost all our senior players at the back.

I wish Vidic stayed.

Wingbacks provide the only width in our system, which puts a lot of pressure on them, so I hope we switch to a 4-2-3-1, but if we do, Juan Mata will probably end up playing out wide and he's ineffective there.

Horrible start to the season and we didn't even play well, but he only won one of his first four games with Bayern Munich and its only our first game.

There is still about two weeks until the transfer window closes and after the match, he said we need 'better players', so lets hope we buy someone new.

No No No No, Van Gaal always takes time to get things going and when he does he will succeed. I agree with Red Devil though, with Cortese available, i cannot understand why Man United have not sacked woodward and brought him in.

No. He's only managed them for 1 competitive game.

I don't know, I've just jumped ship this season so no manager bashing for me.

no. losing our first match may scare these yanks into spending big over the next 2 weeks

Oi laddie!

If anything its Woodward that needs to go.
