Not a reds fans but I think you're most realistic option for a striker would be Eto'o ????. Remy would have been a good buy but it didn't work out so you're left with this. Honestly though you won't be able to challenge a lot in Europe but on the domestic front Sturridge is a fantastic option. Crazy how he went from Chelsea outcast to Liverpool #1 in two seasons.
Before the transfer window opened the Liverpool bosses said there would be no limit on the transfer budget and will try to sign whoever Rodgers wants. Hopefully Lavezzi or Reus will join.
Well it's the ￡75M from Suarez sale, plus the original transfer budget. I would say it was about ￡140M Collectively. There's more left over: A rough ￡40M, I would say. Don't think it will be spent though.
