Us defense is good, that defense during the game was terrible. The offense was terrible during the first half and most of the game. Us started to wake up during extra time

The US defense is just plain awful. You cannot allow that many shots and be considered good. If Tim Howard isn't the goalie, they've probably allowed 5 or 6 goals by now and never would have gotten out of group play. It's ultimately a successful World Cup for the US, but we just don't have the skill players to matchup with the better teams.

Belgium has had so many goal shots! It's unreal, I'm glad one went in.. but anything can still happen, they are both getting pretty defensive.
