I'm not surprised even though it is disappointing to see CH14 leave the club. Van Gaal reportedly acknowledged that CH14 played well in the exhibition matches, but that he needed players with more versatility and CH14 is a one position player. He can only play in the striker role and that is it. However, keeping Welbeck is a huge mistake. He doesn't setup any plays, contrary to what silly United fans claim. CH14 has more assists with far fewer minutes so I have no idea where they get the insane belief Welbeck produces a lot of plays. We all know that Welbeck can't score either to save his life. Rumor has it that Atleti still wants CH14 even after obtaining Jimenez and that Juventus and United are talking of cash and trade between CH14 and Arturo Vidal.

Honestly, it is best for CH14 anyways to move to a different team as he wouldn't have found the consistent playing time he would need to get in form under Van Gaal. At the very least Van Gaal, unlike Moyes before him, is willing to let CH14 find a place where he can get playing time instead of being a super sub. Moyes had me perplexed, unwilling to use CH14 yet unwilling to sell him as well. It was almost as if he wanted CH14 to become a disaster.

Hernandez is a good player. He has been very professional but his overall game hasn't developed. He is a poacher who needs the ball in the 6 yard box to score. He cant hold the ball up and his first touch isnt too good either. He can be a good option coming off the bench in the last minutes when the opposition defenders are tired but he doesnt want to be known as a super sub and he will not start under Van Gaal. So letting him go is the best solution for both the club and the player.

I'm surprise he is getting rid if Rafael but that because he doesn't fit in his defensive formation. Hopefully all three join a club where they will play and be starters for sure. Chicharrito can piss us off quite a lot when he plays in El Tri. If he gets a great amount of playing time maybe he can regain his form he had a few years ago.
