Wish they'd hurry up and go into administration take their fans with them
But surely if we're a brand spanking new club (which you are fond of telling us on a daily basis), the points deduction would be 15?
25 would mean we're the same club as that penalty is given to one club going into administration for a second time.
As I've said on here before, I would probably take that, as it would kill the 'new club' debate right there and then.
this is bad and bad for Scottish football. I've went on about the financial implications to the game so for my opinion on that look at one of my previous answers on Rangers. If it happens, i can see this becoming a routine. Look Rangers are a big club. They have SPL expenses with a Scottish Championship revenue stream. The only way Rangers will get themselves to a point where they can make money is to be playing SPL football and more importantly playing Celtic 4 times a season. They cannot downsize as it would cost too much to downsize. Football, not just scottish football but football in general needs a strong Rangers, even if is just to stop Celtic declining.
Celtic and Rangers are nothing without each other. They are 2 of the worlds most iconic clubs, their rivalry is one of the best in world football. Their games are on the bucket list of any football fan. Yes it is fun for Celtic fans to see this happen but be honest, if Rangers do keep going on this endless cycle and never make it back to the SPL can you honestly see Celtic progressing?
This is the one occasion where doing the wrong thing may be doing the right thing. Stopping this penalty is wrong in every sense of the word. It would be morally wrong in every way. However it would do something to help the scottish game and bring the TV companies and the money back into it.
I may sound like i hate scottish football like all the other trolls in here but trust me i don't. I want to see a strong scottish league. Scottish fans bring something to the game that no other nation does. Unlike us english they bring a party atmosphere that if you spend 5 seconds in it, you instantly want to be one. For scottish football to be strong, for the youth systems to get the investment they need, for the money to start flowing we need frequent Celtic V Rangers games. For Celtic to be strong in Europe they need cash and the only way to get cash is to get Rangers back in the SPL
Sorry for the long winded answer
Its a very very touchy subject for them, don't mention the "A" word and for christ sake dont mention the "L" word.
Why these stupid cnuts, after what has already happened to them, can't run themselves within their means and sensibly, is beyond me, although I imagine, the sheer arrogance that runs through everything about the club, from fans to staff to owners, is probably one of the main reasons.
in all seriousness what do you envisage and hope the outcome of it will be? who will be in charge? will it cost ally his job? will there be an exodus of players?
with a 25pt deduction on the cards its looking like 2 years atleast in the championship which might not be a bad thing
