Nuevo Progreso, Tamaulipas, its like 20 miles from Reynosa idk but it is near by there. Its a small border town. Ironically, it is one of the safest place you can be in a border town so a lot white tourist always go to that town. Many years ago there was a shoot out between the cartels and the soldiers, 10 soldiers and 3 cartels were killed. Surprisingly no civilians were killed. I went the next year the town was dead, it wasnt alive like it was, no tourist, no nothing. Until this year I went and it was back to normal. I havnt been to Rio Bravo, I miss going there as a child.
