I know I will get hate from Mexican music listeners here for saying this but it's my honest opinion, Gerardo has surpassed chalino Sanchez. I don't see why people still call chalino the Rey del corrido when it's Gerardo Ortiz now. I like chalino but his corridos are not as good and he didn't even write half of them.
