Apart from athletic prowess... they still have their wisdom and style of play to offer... and that will without fail alter the landscape of MLS for the better.
They never had opportunities like this until now, and to me I think they're taking it and running with it.

Yes soccer in general is becoming more popular in the U.S.A. A'lot of great players are coming to the MLS . for example, Kaka , David Villa. Sure they are older but they are very popular and will make a difference in the MLS.
Attendance is picking up and there are some real strongholds -- the play on the pitch has improved -- there are plenty of matches in a variety of media formats.....but, this has serious room for improvement -- "TV" deals is where the solid money is....to attract and grow the ad base and create a buzz with sports fans.
