It's still being determined whether he will play or not. He got a hamstring injury in training and at first the reports said he'd be out for up to 6 weeks. But now it has been established that that was a bit exaggerated and it's actually a minor injury which could still see him cleared for this weekend.
I have a feeling they won't risk him though. They have the options of Drogba or even Schurrle to play in that position. Given that a muscular injury can get worse if an athlete is rushed back into it and it's not treated properly. Therefore, giving him a break on the weekend and then the extra week off with Internationals being played should be enough time for him to recover properly.
