I'm sooo nervous for soccer tryouts?

I played soccer for 10 years, and the best advice that I can give you is that if you love the game then don't give up. Soccer is a hard sport, and the conditioning is the worst part! But it is so worth it once you get to go out on the field and play a game. I remember my first day of high school soccer...I was super nervous too! But just remember that everyone there has gone through it before and they know how scary it is. I hope that the upperclassmen are doing there best to make everyone feel welcome and accepted onto the team, but if they aren't then don't let it get to you. Have confidence in yourself and your abilities, and just have fun playing the incredible game! Everything will work out. Good luck!

I'm a freshie and school hasn't started yet (for me) but the girls soccer team has started practices and the coach said he wants a lot of grade 9s to come because he wants to see if he can make a jv team and a senior team ( I live in a really small town so there's usually not enough people to make a jv and senior team for soccer so they just combine grades 9-12 ) and I went to one of the practices 2 days ago and I had to leave because I threw up. I think I was just really nervous and I was working my body to hard because I haven't been doing a lot this summer. I had to leave the practice because I was covered in puke otherwise I would've stayed because I was feeling fine after. so there's another practice tomorrow and I wouldn't say I'm bad at soccer I played on a traveling team for 3 years but I wasn't the best on the team I was just okay. so I really wanna make the team but I get really nervous and they do really intense warm ups and drills and it's also really pressuring having all the upper grade people there because I feel like they're always judging me. so how do I become less nervous and any tips on how to make the team I'm open to anything. thanks x
