It was a dirty tackle but not red card worthy, he didnt mean to break his back, it was just a knee. Yellow card, possibly red but just because he didnt get sent off doesnt mean it wasnt bad. Red might have had a bad view.
Because ref had a dirty concience for what he did in that match and couldn't card that guy.
