This does 3 things:
1. Improves passing/shooting accuracy
2. Improves passing/shooting power
3. Improves trapping the ball
Trust me it helps. Especially if you have one of the brick walls with irregular stones, the unpredictable bouncing of the ball will help with reflexes and such.
Also, this may be boring, but it's the BEST way to gain footskills no matter what.
Toe touches and cone dribbling. Touch the ball with you toes alternating feet and go as fast as you possibly can for a full minute. Do this for 20 minutes with small rests in between. For cone dribbling, set up cones, (or anything like cones) in a straight line with 1 foot in between each cone. Dribble in between the cones and make sure the ball never touches the cones.
It has been a few years since I played soccer. I really want to play on the team this year though, (and no I haven't been trying and not making it). Soccer dosen't start untill March, and I want to be ready. Unfortionatly (sorry I can't spell), a gym class will not fit into my schedule this year. (Otherwise I would be taking soccer). I am planning on taking soccer class next year, but I really want to be on the Girl's Varsity (or at least JV) Soccer team this year. I am out of practice (like I said it's been a few years) so I know I will have to work hard. Please give me any and every tip you can! I really want to make the team!
