The Premier League lasts from August until May. During this time there are 3 cup competitions that Liverpool and other Top 4 teams compete in the Capital One cup which will last from now until after Christmas, then the FA Cup which starts in the new year and lasts until the end and then the Champions League. Unless a team is not in the Champions League Final the FA Cup final is the last game of the season.

When a cup competition happens it is usually in the same week as a Premier League game (normally a 3 or 4 day interval). The best way to find out more information about Liverpool is to visit their website and view all of their fixtures either on that site, or the official Premier League Website.

And The FA Cup runs from January to May. The Champions League runs year round. Ofcourse Liverpool would have to remain in the competitions for those dates to be relevant. Can someone explain to me all the other tournaments that occur? (FA Cup, Europa Cup, etc.) There's so many other tournaments I'm overwhelmed. What about the qualifications for these tournaments. Also, are there any good sites or blogs about Liverpool and the Premier League to read up on for current news? Thanks!
