It is all about demographics. In the mid 1980s the game started being played on a large scale basis. Since then it has been the most popular sport among youth. More youth have played the game than all the other major sports combined. Those numbers add up fast. It is impressive. Almost no adult over 35 years old has played the game. Almost all under 30 have experienced the game! A vey positive growth curve ahead!
