Help with football seating?

It sounds daft but it depends on what you want to see. You will get a great view of any forward play going towards there, but if you like a view that gives you a look at the team layout and tactics etc then its poor.

I like to see the tactics, team formation etc so when i go to newcastle i like to sit either level 7 or the level below. Higher up, can see all the pitch and can see positions etc.

Friends of mine just want to see the goals and attacking movement with the best view possible and couldn't care less about the higher view so they prefer to sit where you would be sitting. Depends on who you are

I have the option to get football seats at st James. The seats are milburn stand L1B row aa (price 150 each) is it worth it? It's a lot of money for the tickets it them to turn out to be a rubbish view.. I have no idea as I've never been but I've heard if your too low down it's not as good? Any advice please
