I'm 15 and play soccer and have pain on my right side. My parents say I probably just strained a muscle but when I go to massage it I just hit bone so I think it's a bone problem. Sometimes on the right side of my butt resists movement my leg movement like in the right side of my buttocks. it also hurts sometimes when I sneeze if that helps with the answer. Recently I've only been playing soccer at the park with my friends and just taking free kicks. I started feeling a little pain and the next day the pain really hit me when I tried to bend down and lift my leg. I've done RICE for a week and stopped playing soccer until my first tryout It started to feel better and I could only feel it a little but after my soccer practice today. It came back full force and It felt really hard to run and juggle. Sorry this is long but anyone who can tell me what this is and maybe give me a solution to how to heal it and how long it will take I'll gladly give u best answer
