I was not so embarrassed as you've mentioned above but my team once lost 5-2 and for 80 minutes out of 90 minutes my team was just running on the field without the ball !!!!!!!!!!!
Last year varsity,we played Monte Verde Academy and loss 5-0
Were these girls on steroids? Or is your team made out of silly nani dudes?
A couple times actually
1. Me and 3 friends were going against this father and his 2 sons and his 9 year old son kept dribbling thru me everytime he broke my ankles not literally and kept getting it thru my legs
2. Another time me and like 10 other people were playing and the portero passed it to me and all of a sudden a girl from the other team comes shoves me sends me flying and scores
3. 1 time i tried a chilena but ended up doing a backflip and landed on my head, i almost broke my neck
Hard to regain my confidence after those incidents
This isn't about soccer, but marching band. There's this thing called "follow the leader" move, and this girl fell and started domino effect. Not at practice or football game, but at the competition.
My team that I put together for my colleges yearly soccer tournament (biggest soccer tournament in South Georgia) got knocked out by high school soccer girls & 1 guy they had, it was so emmbarrising, 2 of my best players couldn't make it b/c they got wasted the night before, & the grand prize was $2000 dollars, didn't care about the money, but was playing for pride, what about you?
