Seaman was overrated so he is probably right. Nigel Martyn was the better keeper in those days.
In their primes they are definitely comparable.

Petr Cech wasn't the complete keeper. He is world class though but his main flaw is his ability in the air. He once allowed Liverpool a free goal because of his indecision to catch a cross. He had a big stature though, but Seamen was acrobatic and could pull nearly impossible saves. Seamen for me. I would probably pick Cech for a penalty shoot out though.
