Does Rio Ferdinand have a selective memory?

Actually its the money, and then the opportunity factor like playing with a better squad, increasing the likeliness of trophies.

I doubt top top players will play for them on around 100ks a week based on prestige and stature alone.

Tbh,Man United have either spend heavily on rubbish like Young,Fellaini etc,who are also on hefty wages,...or have poor players all round which would put them top players off and then they have to settle for overpriced mercenaries willing to play.

Real have spent big and very big but also wisely which doesn't deter the opportunity of top players as well as a good wage.Man United do have the money for big players but they are put off by the poor squad.

Yes, he remembers all the good players that stayed, but he can't remember things like drugs tests and the good players that left.

Selective memory at it's best.
