Yes they deserved and they showed it by their excellent performance. Mexico was well this cup but I think they would've ended up losing to Germany. If Mexico would've won the Netherlands I think they would've been in the Finals instead of Argentina. :)

You barely tied Brazil only because Ochoa saved Mexico's butt time and time again. Germany whooped their butts 7-1. Hell, the USA was the only reason why Mexico made the WC in the first place. Tell me again how Mexico is the better squad
Germany deserved it, mexico didnt. Give it a couple years and mexico will be a favourite to win, but as of now they didnt have the depth or talent to beat Germany or even holland for gthat matter
