It depends on whether Dortmund wait until next summer to sell him when his ￡27m release clause will come into effect or sell him now for a fee of around ￡50m. Reus doesn't seem to want to sign a new deal, which suggests he could be on his way out. Bayern will get him next summer when his clause comes into play, so if Liverpool have any chance of signing him they need to strong arm now and see what the state of play is or risk losing all hope completely.

Liverpool FC fans want him, though whether he leaves or not is another thing.



They do need to replace Suarez with a top class striker and Reus is said to be able to play as one.

i hardly think that many players would see dortmund to liverpool as a bad move though, the signing of someone like him should easily see us finish top 4 and most players would see no real difference between that in the epl and an all but guaranteed 2nd in the bundespubliga especially when he'd probably be earning 2-3x his current salary.

we as an Institution need to make a powerful fecking statement sometime soon - if not this season next season or the one after and land a BIG BIG NAME player....i mean like, a signing that will shock and excite World football ;-)
