but i didn't expect the game to go to extra time, i expected a 2-1 win at least but Argentina know how to defend and have faster defenders than Germany's. but a lot of us thought so as they struggled against weaker teams than Holland and Germany, while Germany destroyed 2 teams and scored more than one goal in almost every game

the difference is Ronaldo (champions league) scored in almost all of the games and teams he played in while Messi (world cup) could only score in the group stage and one assist against Belguim (i know it is a bit of an off comparison but both are the top competitions for European clubs and the world respectively). Ronaldo scored against: Copenhagen (x2),
Galatasaray (once and was injured or suspended),
Juventus (x2)
Schalke (x2)
BVB Dortmund (once and was injured the second leg)
Bayern (once played both game)
Atletico (once off a PK)
and you talk sh!t about him why exactly? i, as a Madrid fan, will always defend him with the results he gets, but i cannot understand why you (neither a Messi/Barca fan) can talk so much sh!t about him and say he doesn't deserve anything.

1 goal against Bosnia which could have either hit the post or missed completely
1 skillful goal against a small team like Iran (who played with 11 defenders)
2 goals against Nigeria (one where the GK was not protecting the goal and the other was a good free kick)
1 assist against Belguim, then he didn't assist or score which was very much expected of him.
compare his group to Germany's and their opponents, which team had it harder?
of course most Ronaldo fans are too incompetent to be able to think of how Germany faced harder teams but will solely blame Messi for Argentina's loss. Argentina faced easier teams which made me think that the World Cup was rigged or it was dumb luck.
The thing is most Ronaldo fans will get over Argentina losing as they have Ronaldo to religiously watch. once the season starts the argument "Argentina lost b/c Messi didn't do anything" will get old. Messi got second place and didn't win anything this season, that's just 1 season, and 2nd place isn't much to make fun of, take Holland 4 yrs ago, they weren't made fun of by a lot of fans but both were close to winning. They got to 2nd place that's good enough, but had Argentina won every single Messi fan wouldn't shut up about it, but Ronaldo fans know Portugal can't get as close (maybe with easier teams) therefore 2nd placed Argentina/Messi will be made fun of until he starts doing well again in league (how will an event that took place a month ago be relevant to say Messi scoring a hat trick on his Barca return?)
