I'm trying to think the positives about Welbeck. He will be better than Sanogo up front but we really needed at DM and someone who can also cover at CB when needed. Imagine our game against Besikats. Imagine is Debuchy was red carded, Gibbs injured and then suddenly Chambers or Merte picked up an injury. Then What! We will be in a nightmare. Even if one of our CB's got injured now. We have no cover. As Monreal is at left back, Debuchy at right, Gibbs injured. Plus we need a strong, tough tackling DM. We are missing that from the team. A bit of aggression. We needed a striker, yes but the other was more important, if we have a couple of injuries at the back we are doomed! Still thinking the positives and upgrade to Sanogo. An outside chance of doing the Sturridge. Still hoping he performs.

Don't get me wrong I think we blew 16mil and we disregarded both the CB and CDM positions and we now only have two real CB's. However everyone also thought liverpool wasted cash on Sturridge and now he is a top St. Wenger did it to Henry, so could he do the same with welbeck?
