I think that they could've put up a very good fight. But they just lost all their confidence with Neymar and Silva gone. It was sad to watch.
Brasil is average team and neymar is their best plyer. However neymar is also nothing special unless refs give him a blind eye on his dirty play and reward his often dives which happened in 3 games on this WC. This is what happens when team gets between best 4 completely undeserved.

With Neymar, they still would have lost. Neymar is their offense and Germany has already shown they can shut down a world class player and destroy an offense (see 4-0 over Portugal/Ronaldo).

I'm disappointed that Scolari didn't take some of the 2002 players, (Kaka, Ronaldinho) with which he WON the world cup, as well as some of the 2010 players like Robinho.
