true bale was overpriced but he basically repayed it for scoring the winning goals in the copa del rey and champions league finals
Bale because he was the most expensive transfer and he only had potential. He's never going to live up to his price tag. Suarez at least had two better seasons before sold, he's in his prime. Real Madrid could have waited a few more seasons to sign bale for a much much smaller fee but Suarez was always going to be worth loads of money. Also James Rodriguez is going to be worth a ton of money, its just like bale's sale. they can wait another season for his price to calm down. So Bale was more overpaid of course.
Well, to be fair to Bale he was bought for the sole reason of winning the Champions League as it was a obsession, and he got the game winning goal for it, and the CDR. He won us two trophies in his first season. Bale is proving his worth, if he gets more titles then his tag will actually be justified, he is going on the right path. To be honest, I did not think he would ever justify it but he is certainly doing so.
Suarez is a great footballer, I would be a little worried about his behavior, they got him unavailable for a few months (due to ban), he did not score one single goal against top 4 teams last season which arguably cost Liverpool the title but he has the ability to do so. He is overpriced as Bale was as of now but whether he will be able to do what Bale did is unknown and unlikely.
When Bale was sold from Spurs, he was dare I say at the level of Messi and Ronaldo, was scoring World Class stunners on a consistent level against all the big teams. Suarez was not and did not do that, he was not at the level Bale was. But the future is yet to be seen.
Both overpriced. Suarez more so due to his age and image.
