They are a mid-table team, based on the last 3 seasons. However they have released a lot of players, a few of which are established in the first team, so their depth will be lacking.
They will probably finish approximately 7th or 8th based on the fact that their squad is weaker than it was last year, but will definitely not be anywhere near the relegation zone.
with Rangers and Celtic in the SPL, it's very unlikely St Johnstone get a chance to become a good side.
