ALGERIA TOTALLY DESERVED IT!
Do you realize they prevented Germany from scoring the ENTIRE match? All the 90 minutes, Germany didn't score ONCE. And they only scored in OVERTIME. And everyone had kept saying germany would easily beat Algeria during the 90 minutes. Yes, Germany scored twice, but Algeria scored in the last minute! They fought with passion, with vigor, with gist - they didn't give up, and they totally deserved it more than the Germans, who simply got lucky.
So for all u people who are just assuming that Germany's a better team and plays better, Algeria fought harder and put up a great fight. They prevented Germany from doing what everyone thought it would do.
Go Algeria! Don't worry, your time will come in 2018, perhaps when the World Cup decides to stop making sure Europe dominates all of soccer.
I liked Algeria, but I knew they wouldn't win.

Algeria had a better chance then Nigeria, I thought Algeria would win. But in the end they both gave up and lose

This is a fact.
They gave up a good fight, but dont have the quality and usually lose by some detail.
I was rooting for Algeria but if they deserved to win they would have found the final ball on their counter-attacks which they weren't able to do. Germany deserved to win, as the scoreline shows.
Deserving doesn't mean a thing when you've lost the game. If you deserve to win something, you do it. Pure and simple.
They put up a great fight. They should be proud of what they did out there because It was not handed to Germany easily
